ReplyDeleteAfter yesterday's song discussion I thought you may like to take a listen to song clips on this link. I enjoy stopping on this page from time to time for a soothing listen while I'm surfing the net. For all Apostolics, this is how songs are supposed to sound!
Not all one long groan. I know when my family members attend funerals, weddings etc at non-Apostolic churches they say that the singing is way too fast and they can't keep up! Comes from years of the funeral dirge cadence.
I thought all the music talk might warrant a little Psalm 150... to see what the Lord thinks about decent music:
ReplyDeletePraise the LORD . Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD . Praise the LORD .
