I just started "The God We Never Knew" by Marcus Borg, a writer recommended by my pastor. So far, so good. Have any of you read it? What did you think?
"The God We Never Knew" was the first theological book I read after a period in my life were I had completely rejected all forms of Christianity because of my frustration with fundamentalism.
ReplyDeleteI've been greatly influenced by this and his other books. Borg's story of journeying from one understanding of Christianity to another resonates with my own.
